TOWN MEETING WARRANT - The preliminary warrant for the fall Town Meeting is now online at www.town.billerica.ma.us. The 27-page document contains 30 warrant articles, including a proposal to allocate $39.5 million to the construction of a new Parker School, and requests to use a portion of the town's free cash to reduce the local tax rate and fund the $966,375 snow and ice deficit for fiscal 2009, which ended on June 30. The Town Meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 in the Town Hall auditorium. - Brenda J. Buote
