As Sand Dune Park rolls into its second month of closure, Manhattan Beach leaders Thursday night will consider how parking restrictions might curb use of the popular spot.

In the first of two public workshops, members of the city's Parking and Public Improvements Commission will investigate whether to install parking meters near the Bell Avenue facility and implement a permit parking system for the surrounding neighborhood.
