City of Oconomowoc - The Chamber of Commerce will host a
workshop, "Preparing for H1N1 Flu - Will You Be Ready?" from 7:30 to
9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, in the community room at Waukesha State
Bank, 1227 Corporate Center Drive. Cost: chamber members $10,
nonmembers $20.
Part one will focus on Developing a Pandemic Flu Plan and will be
presented by Al Baltrusaitus ProHealth Care, board certified in
occupational health; and Lynn Schubert, manager of facilities and
safety at Aurora Health Care. The presentation will offer a
comprehensive review of the actions an employer must take to prepare
for and respond to the spread of influenza in the workplace.
