Bernice F. "Bunny" (Huckleberry) Meyer, 80, St. Joseph, passed
from this life on Monday, September 21, 2009, in her home.
Bunny was born September 22, 1928, in Maryville, Mo., the
daughter of James and Rozella (Shipley) Huckleberry.
Bunny worked as a surgical technician for over 25 years at the
former Sisters Hospital and then at Heartland Hospital, St. Joseph.
She then worked for InterServ.
Bunny married Paul Meyer on February 10, 1948, at the Conception
Abbey at Conception Junction, Mo.; he preceded her in death on July
1, 1998.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Joseph, and the
church Alter Society.
Bunny had a great love for her family and always put them first.
