DAYTON -- Last year, the Ohio State football game went long, so
the Dayton Art Institute's Oktoberfest went long as well.
"True story," said Bill Chifala, who chairs this year's 38th
Oktoberfest with wife Nancy. "Last year the Ohio State (vs.
Wisconsin) game was on and it was supposed to end at 11, but it went
long, to 11: 30. We held the grounds open for the last half hour. We
made sure the shuttles were working. It was fun (especially since
OSU won)."
For true accommodation, welcome to the 38th Dayton Art Institute
Oktoberfest this Saturday and Sunday.
This year, the Chifalas noted the entire festival was moved a
week earlier than usual so as not to conflict with a Louisville art ...
