JVS celebrates 35 years of careers
PIQUA -- Upper Valley JVS had a 35th anniversary celebration
Sunday, Sept. 20.
Since 1975, the JVS has provided career preparation for more than
28,000 high school students and 101,000 adults.
Activities included a car cruise-in, student car exhibit, picnic
lunch, building tours, Willowbrook tours and program/lab
demonstrations.
At a 3 p.m. ceremony at the JVS Applied Technology Center, the
school broke ground for the new alternative energy installation
(solar panels and wind turbine).
