Wool Partners International's (WPI) plan to boost flagging wool
returns has been strengthened with two more manufacturers added to
its wool-to-market chain.
Its subsidiary, Wools of New Zealand, made agreements this week
with United States manufacturers, Bloomsburg Carpet Industries Inc
and J Mish Inc, following negotiations with two other companies in
July.
WPI chief executive Iain Abercrombie said more agreements were
lined up with manufacturers and other groups during the next few
weeks.
The group has exceeded its expectation in negotiations with
manufacturing companies, he said.
