Brian L. Boyer, 66, a legal assistant who had worked for the law
firm of WilmerHale since 1973 and who was involved in community
theater for many years, died of liver cancer Sept. 5 at Capital
Hospice in Arlington County. He was a Bethesda resident.
Not long after his discharge from the Air Force in the early
1960s, Mr. Boyer happened to see a newspaper ad urging him to "Learn
to Tap Dance." He did just that, and his tap-dancing opened the door
to what he considered his true calling, community theater.
He participated in plays and musical reviews with organizations
that included the Silver Spring Stage, Glenmont Players, Bethesda
Little Theatre and the British Embassy Players. He also ...
