There's fall fashion in the air next month thanks to these events:

Fashion icon Donna Ricco's creations will get a runway strut during Moxie: The 2009 Style Show, Oct. 6 and 7 at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield.

The Milwaukee-born Ricco, who caused a stir last year when Michelle Obama wore one of her creations on "The View," will share the runway with Karen Davidson, the creative director behind Harley- Davidson MotorClothes.

The New York-based Ricco launched Donna Ricco Inc. with her husband, Thomas Pulls II, in New York in 1983. She had been selling versions of what became known as "the Obama dress" for years, but the design caught fire last ...
