Article: Tractor cruise benefits foundation

More than 35 tractors cruised through Atchison and Brown county roads on Labor Day to raise money for the Angelman Syndrome Foundation, an organization that promotes awareness and treatment of the neurogenetic disorder.

The tractor convoy's organizer, Keith Olsen, of Horton, enjoys the camaraderie of other tractor owners, but he also enjoys the thought of raising money for people diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome -- including his 4-year-old daughter, Ingrid.

"The whole family takes part in this," Olsen said Monday after the tractor cruise. "If the fog would have been gone earlier, I think we would have had a better turnout."
