Laid-off workers at three Pittsburgh-area companies are eligible
for federal job retraining, job search assistance and other benefits
because they lost their jobs due to foreign goods or services or
outsourcing, the state said Friday.
Workers from ATI Allegheny Ludlum's Brackenridge steel mill;
Chromalox Inc., a heater manufacturer in O'Hara; and Flabeg Corp., a
solar power products company in Brackenridge, were certified by the
Department of Labor as being eligible to apply for a wide range of
benefits under the federal Trade Adjustment Assistance Act, the
state said.
Those eligible are for the benefits are: ATI Allegheny Ludlum
workers who lost or will lose their job between March 11, ...
