And so begins "Reitz Home Radio Murders of 1933," a play
written by Evansville's Kelley Coures for the Reitz Home's 17th
Annual Mystery Event, scheduled Saturday
The play is a fictional account of a murder with no shortage of
suspects, but several of the main characters - and nightlife venues -
that figure into it are not.
In the opening scene, the star of the locally produced Radio
Mystery Hour, sponsored by Fendrich Cigar Co.and broadcast weekly on
WGBF, is found dead at the Reitz Home, having eaten a poisoned piece
