Golden Bay may be her home but the Galapagos Islands are where a large part of world- renowned nature photographer Tui De Roy's heart is. Geoff Collett reports. -------------------- Golden Bay nature photographer Tui De Roy is an old hand at talking about her latest books and particularly about the Galapagos Islands - the subject of seven of those books - but, even so, the wistfulness and awe is still obvious in her voice when the conversation turns to what it's really like there.

"You step off the plane and you get that warm, damp breeze . . . There's a freshness in the breeze from the cold currents, but it doesn't rain much. OK, that's the first breath you take.
