CREDITORS owed cash by the failed Derby Playhouse are likely to be given back just 5% of their money.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the theatre's administrators are charging Pounds 229 an hour for their services.

Money owed to creditors and administrators Tenon will come out of the Pounds 500,000 raised by the sale of the Playhouse building's lease to the University of Derby.

To date, Tenon has clocked up Pounds 70,956 costs for 308.73 hours work.

Former employees and local businesses which supplied the Playhouse are now expected to get 5p for every pound they are owed, despite being told at a meeting in December they could expect to receive 22.19p.
