Climate change to malnourish 25mln children in 2050: study

NAIROBI, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Twenty-five million more children will be malnourished in 2050 due to effects of climate change, according to a report by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).

This study, the most comprehensive assessment of the impact of climate change on agriculture to date, says the impact of climate change on poor people can be averted with 7 billion U. S. dollars additional annual investments in rural development.
