COLORADO RIVER
Remains of man found in burning trailer
The remains of a man were discovered in a travel trailer that
caught fire early Thursday morning on the banks of the Colorado
River.
Coroner's officials have been unable to identify the man.
Sheriff's detectives said there does not appear to be foul play.
Security guards at the Avi Resort & Casino called 9-1-1 about
12:30 a.m. to report a fire in the desert about a mile west of the
casino.
A vehicle and travel trailer were found burning in the rural
desert on Fort Mohave Tribal land, 50 yards south of Power Line Road
and a half mile west of Aha Macay Road.
