Article: Safety fears led to workers' walkout ; BoC contractors back on site after row over foreign labour

THE North Lincolnshire contractors caught up in the foreign labour row at the BoC gas plant in Scunthorpe have agreed to go back to work.

As reported, 25 workers downed tools on Tuesday at the Warren Road site in a row over foreign labour.

They have now resumed normal working, pending further talks between their unions and bosses.

The 25 held an off-site meeting with Bernard McAuley, the national organiser for the construction industry for Unite, who earlier held talks with the Warwickshire-based company of Pomanex.
