Article: Barn dance celebrates 10 years of helping patients

BRUNEL PATIENT SUPPORT is a group of volunteers who drive patients to appointments, help with shopping and generally offer a befriending service to patients of the medical practice which has surgeries in Fore Street, St Marychurch, and St Albans Road, Babbacombe and Collaton Road Shiphay, in Torquay.

The group is 10 years old this year and has had a number of events throughout the year to celebrate.

Its final event is a ceilidh/barn dance on Friday, October 16, at St Anne's Hall Babbacombe.

Tickets are Pounds 7.50 to include a ploughman's and the evening starts at 7.30pm, the band WoRTS 'N ALL will be providing the music.
