ABI SINCLAIR, lead singer of Plymouth all-girl alt.pop quartet
The Orkid described the experience of performing at a prestigious
all-day show to mark the opening of the new foyer at Colston Hall in
Bristol as "a bit surreal".
Along with four other acts, the band had been selected for the
prestigious show, as part of Teenage Rampage - a series of showcase
gigs in nine different towns and cities across the South West,
designed to discover and promote the best unsigned young bands in
the region.
"We arrived in Bristol at around 11am on the Saturday," explains
17-year-old Abi, "then met up with the other bands and had a
seminar, a question and answer session with people from the music
industry."
