Article: Runners bypass tough teams at Madison

Arrowhead's varsity boys cross country team split its squad into two teams last Saturday and competed in two meets, one in Madison and one in Kenosha.

In Madison, running in the Wisconsin Adidas High School Invitational at University Ridge Golf Course, the No. 8 ranked Warhawks captured the championship, winning the crown with 66 points. Brookfield Central, ranked No. 2 in the state, finished second with 70 tallies.

Janesville Craig, ranked fourth, took third place with 77 tallies. Arrowhead sophomore Russell Sandvold finished third in Madison with a clocking of 16:15.
