Bath Minerva Choir, The Athenaeum Singers of Warminster, and the
Mid-Somerset Orchestra are joining together under the baton of the
charismatic young Bath based conductor, Gavin Carr, to present a
gala concert in aid of the RNLI in Wells Cathedral on July 11 at
7pm.
The programme will feature music with a nautical theme -
Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, Stanford's 4th Irish Rhapsody (The
Fisherman of Lough Neagh and what he saw) and the main work of the
evening Vaughan Williams' A Sea Symphony.
