QUINCY
Charges of shoplifting, receiving stolen property valued at more
than $250 and seven counts of receiving stolen property valued at
less than $250 against Stacy B. Monteiro, 25, of Boston were ordered
dismissed by Judge Kevin O'Dea upon payment of $100 in court costs.
The offenses were alleged to have occurred June 20 at stores in
South Shore Plaza in Braintree.
Rentas Cruz, 30, of Boston pleaded innocent to heroin
distribution, conspiracy, possession of a false Registry of Motor
Vehicles document and giving a false name to a police officer. He
was told to return to court Oct. 30. The offenses were alleged to
have occurred Sept. 22 in Quincy.
