Bud and I are always glad to roll up to the house in Bow after a
long trip. There's nothing like settling into your own bed after
hours of grueling travel. You're home!
But before we slip back into the daily routine, we borrow a page
from NASA's playbook and do a debriefing - sort of like the
astronauts who report on what went right or wrong and what needs
changing when they come home from space. Here's my debriefing on our
recent month-long trip to Turkey and Greece.
The good: One of the things that worked very well on this trip
was the pace of our itinerary. We alternated busy sightseeing
segments (Istanbul, Antalya, Rhodes) with more laid-back segments on
