Indian police kill 5 militants in northeast state

NEW DELHI, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Indian police shot dead on Saturday five separatist militants in a gun battle in Manipur, a restive state in northeast India bordering Myanmar, the Indo-Asian News Service reported on Sunday.
