A former Poca High School volleyball coach who police say was
caught in a Nitro motel room with a female student did not appear
for a preliminary hearing on Monday.
Instead, Christopher Miller, 27, entered a written plea of not
guilty on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The
case is headed for trial in Nitro Municipal Court.
Police say Miller was found in a room at the Nitro Econo Lodge
about 5 a.m. June 30 in the company of a 16-year-old Poca High
School student. Police said Miller's wife found the two in the motel
