Police ID victim in
motorcycle crash
Kanawha County deputies have identified the victim of a
motorcycle crash along U.S. 60 near Glasgow.
Lt. Bryan Stover with the Kanawha Sheriff's Office said in a news
release that the 2009 Yamaha XV2 motorcycle was driven by Judith
Young, 57, of Charleston.
The other vehicle involved was a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV
driven by Danny Jarrell, 66, of Seth.
The accident occurred Sunday at about 4:40 p.m., according to the
sheriff's office report.
A preliminary investigation indicates Jarrell was heading west
while Young was traveling east on U.S. 60. Stover said Jarrell was
following other motorcycles and decided to pass them in a passing
