Ryan Michael Gianforte recently became Boy Scout Troop 975's
newest Eagle Scout. The Towson University freshman received his
award from state Sen. Ed DeGrange Sr. during his Eagle Court of
Honor.
Along the way, Gianforte earned more than 21 merit badges and
served in various troop leadership positions. Over his entire
scouting career he attended 216 meetings as a Cub Scout, 350 weekly
meetings as a Boy Scout and completed about 325 different
requirements.
Gianforte's Eagle Scout project was planning and overseeing the
installation of a 15-by-30 foot brick floor in a shed at Kinder Farm
Park in Millersville. The shed was used only for storage but with
