American people need to stand up

If a Republican president proposed to deliver an inspirational message to the nation's schoolchildren, and extremists on the Left accused him of trying to impose some insidious agenda on America's youth, the Republicans would rise up in righteous indignation against such a defamation of our elected Head of State.

If a Democratic member of Congress had ever shouted "You lie!" during one of George W. Bush's formal addresses, the far Right would have been screaming for that member to be sanctioned, at the very least, or even removed from Congress.
