WOOSTER -- Pass-heavy Triway and run-crazed Cuyahoga Valley
Christian Academy could not have more different offensive styles.
When the final whistle blew in the clash of Principals Athletic
Conference foes at Titans Stadium, the pass -- and Triway -- emerged
victorious, beating CVCA for the first time the schools' five
meetings, 27-6.
While the win could be chalked up to another stellar performance
from junior QB Derek Carmichael (23-of-31, 246 yards, 3 TDs),
Triway's defense, a piece of the puzzle that has been missing for
the Titans for most of the season, was just as spectacular.
