WALNUT CREEK -- The 15th biennial induction ceremony of the
Holmes County Sports Hall of Fame was held Saturday night at the
Carlisle Village Inn, and throughout the night, "people" was the
theme most carried through by both the inductees, and presenters.
"When it's all said and done, what counts are the people," said
inductee Robert Hunter, who like most of those honored Saturday,
said the accolades were secondary to the people he's come in contact
with through sports.
"You win with people, and these are the people," said Brooks
Harris, coach of West Holmes' 1966 baseball team that competed in
