Article: Peugeot gets serious with new 3008

PEUGEOT'S Irish distributor has announced pricing for their new 3008 Crossover, with a structure which puts the hugely successful Nissan Qashqai firmly in its sights.

The new model will have a starting price of [euro]24,900, undercutting the entry-level price of the diesel Nissan Qashqai by [euro]595, whilst offering Electronic Stability Control as standard. The 3008 comes with a 110bhp 1.6-litre HDi diesel engine in both manual and Eco automatic form and qualifies for 16% VRT and [euro]156 annual road tax, thanks to low fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions, at 137g/km for the manual and 130g/km for the automatic.
