The first Oshkosh Corp. all-terrain military trucks have arrived
in Afghanistan, three months after the company was awarded a vehicle
contract that could be worth billions of dollars.
Seven of the trucks were flown from Charleston, S.C., to an
undisclosed location in Afghanistan, where they are being readied
for service by U.S. military personnel. So far, Oshkosh has received
orders for 4,296 of the off-road trucks designed for use in rugged,

With spare parts and support services, the orders have so far
totaled $2.3 billion.
