Article: Meeting of the minds on school budget impact Superintendents, legislators discuss education issues

Under the shadow of the state budget, area school districts struggle to provide students the education they need to succeed in today's technologically advanced markets while remaining financially viable.

Area school officials met with two state legislators in Hartland on Sept. 29 to discuss the state budget and its effect on education.

"I think it's extremely important that as educators we make our voices heard," said Kettle Moraine School District Superintendent Pat Deklotz.
