Look beyond labels for health-care ideas
That broadcast arm of the great left-wing conspiracy, PBS,
recently ran Ken Burns' documentary on national "government-run"
parks, crediting that pro-health care socialist in Republican
disguise, President Theodore Roosevelt.
Imagine the free enterprise opportunities to build condos
overlooking the Grand Canyon or for-profit steam baths in
Yellowstone that were blocked by that evil government establishment
of national parks!
Public ownership and operation is not always an evil conspiracy.
Parks, fire and police departments, libraries, interstate highways
and food safety inspectors all function, rarely with a consumer
complaint.
