Article: Lakefront restaurant site plans advance Harbor panel approves building, menu concepts

Milwaukee's only lakefront restaurant will reopen by next spring, with a huge remodeling job and a new seafood menu, under plans unveiled Tuesday for the former Pieces of Eight site.

The restaurant, as yet unnamed, will feature crab, lobster and shrimp, as well as items such as burgers and steak sandwiches, according to developer Michael Cudahy and restaurateur Joe Bartolotta. The two made a presentation to the Board of Harbor Commissioners Finance and Personnel Committee, which unanimously approved the concept.
