If your family Bible includes the Book of Judith, it's a good bet you're Catholic.

Judith is one of a handful of Jewish texts written between 200 B.C. and A.D. 100. The texts are sometimes called the apocrypha - a word that means "hidden."

The apocrypha are not part of Jewish or Protestant Scriptures. Catholicism, however, does consider Judith scriptural, and Catholic Bibles include the Book of Judith.
