Court records reveal the nature of a bitter, ongoing custody and
support dispute between Oconomowoc murder victim Kim Smith and her
ex-boyfriend Darren Wold.
In a 2008 letter to the court seeking a harassment injunction
against the father of her 4-year-old child, Smith said Wold "will do
anything to get back at me."
Smith, 39, was found bound and stabbed to death on the floor of
the family room Oct. 1, at her home at 334 S. Maple St.
Police have verified that Wold was in Lubbock, Texas, the
afternoon of the day Smith was murdered. Wold moved to Texas earlier
this year.
In her letter to the Waukesha County Civic Division, Smith said
