Prince George's Community College celebrated the reopening of its
three-story library, Accokeek Hall, last week after nearly two years
of renovation.
The library, on the Largo campus, opened in 1985 and features
150,000 items in 300 subject areas, wireless Internet access, public
computers, a renovated circulation desk and staff area, new private
media viewing and listening carrels and more.
The library is open to the public. Hours of service for the fall
and spring semesters are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays, 8 a.m.-5
p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays; it is closed Sundays. For
