1913-2009

Arthur H. Davis, 96, of Cheyenne died Oct. 7 at Mountain Towers Healthcare.

He was born Jan. 8, 1913, in Bavaria, Kan.

Mr. Davis was a retired truck driver formerly employed by Commercial Carriers.

He married Elizabeth E. "Betty" Sullivan on May 18, 1940, in Salina, Kan.

Mr. Davis served in the Army during World War II.

He was a member of First Baptist Church and belonged to American Legion Post No. 6.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Elizabeth E. "Betty" Davis of Cheyenne; daughter, Diana Davis of Cheyenne; sister, Veta Leister of Salina; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest Davis, Merle Davis, Solon ...
