Exile McIlroy spots chink in Stade's armour

EDINBURGH RUGBY will have to make history this weekend if they are to get their Heineken European Cup bid off to a flying start against Stade Francais in Paris. On five previous occasions, the Scots have travelled to get the tournament underway and the best result achieved, so far, has been a 38-38 draw against Ulster in Belfast as defeats have been stockpiled in Bath (26-55), Swansea (16- 21), Perpignan (0-23) and Agen (17-19).
