William Staman, who lives in Elizabethtown, sent us this photo
that belonged to his mother, Helen I. (Schlotthauer) Staman, who
worked at the Columbia Telephone Co.
The event is an outing for company employees sometime in 1934 or
1935.
Pictured are:

Back row, from left: Capt. Lennig, Mr. Mann, Charles Taylor,

Mr. Staman wrote that the Columbia phone company "existed
independently until the 1960s when it merged with the United
