At 6:45 on Monday mornings in the fall, Virginia Tech's players
gather and watch film of the previous weekend's game. Before the
Hokies' 3:15 practice on Monday afternoons, the players already have
dossiers, perhaps 40 pages long, on their next opponent.
But on Saturday, in the moments after Virginia Tech's 48-14 over
Boston College, the Hokies already had started talking about their
meeting next Saturday against No. 22 Georgia Tech.
"We know we've got to come ready to bring it versus them,"
linebacker Cody Grimm said. "They'll bring it."
