MILLINOCKET - Expect a chilly reception the next time you go into town hall to do business.

No, the clerks and other workers at the police station, town hall, Millinocket District Court and Millinocket Historical Society Museum won't necessarily be impolite, but they will probably be cold - quite literally.

The boiler that heats the building, Town Manager Eugene Conlogue said Thursday, is being replaced. That work will continue for another two weeks or so.

The repairs are part of a $400,000 plant upgrade at the building that the council voted to bond in July.
