Russell Bishop Russell W. Bishop, 66, a resident of Millersville,
died Oct. 6, 2009, after a four-year battle with multiple myeloma.
He was born Sept. 9, 1943, in Laurel, to the late Claude Bishop and
Maude Bishop Lawrence. He graduated from Northwestern H.S. in 1961.
He worked for the Government Printing Office for several years, then
the Department of Navy, where he eventually became Director of
Printing at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. He retired from
government in 1998. Russ enjoyed golf, camping, traveling and home
projects. He was a member of the Good Sam Traveling Americans group.
He loved and adored being with his grandchildren. He was preceded in
