Article: Girl Scouts honor women of distinction

On Sept. 29, approximately 300 community leaders gathered at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs for the 2009 Girl Scouts Women of Distinction Reunion breakfast. The event raised $28,000 to benefit the 4,600 Girl Scouts in the Pikes Peak area.

The theme for this reunion breakfast was Take the Lead for Girl Scouts and reunited the 24 Colorado Springs Women of Distinction who represent leadership and the positive example they set for Girl Scouts.
