Article: Muliaina gets R&R holiday for Super 14

NZRU says it's a one-off and News Ltd is happy ROTATION AND reconditioning, the two dirtiest words in rugby, are set to make a comeback with confirmation that All Blacks fullback Mils Muliaina will sit out the first three rounds of next year's Super 14.

Muliaina has been granted an extended break from the game after the All Blacks' end-of-year tour - a long-service leave deal brokered when he renewed his contract with the New Zealand Rugby Union earlier this year.

It means he will miss the Chiefs' season-opening trip to South Africa and Australia, with games against the Sharks, Lions and the Western Force.
