A noted Hollywood film pianist, Pearl Kaufman, is scheduled to play in the University of Central Oklahoma's Broadway Tonight Series special event.

She'll be at the UCO Oklahoma Jazz Lab on Fifth and Littler streets in Edmond at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 to play some of her greatest hits.

Kaufman's music has been featured in more than 268 films, including Dr. Zhivago, The Great Race, Summer of '42, and Animal House. In addition to her musical skills, she's noted for her role as musical trainer to actor Jack Nicholson, who played the piano in the Oscar-winning film Five Easy Pieces.
