Dissatisfied with the turnout at last year's Waukesha County 4-H
open house, members of the 4-Leaf 4-H Club in Waukesha started
brainstorming. After a number of monthly meetings, the group decided
to go before the Executive Board with an alternative plan in April.
In June, the club's plan received approval and by the time the
Waukesha County Fair opened in mid-July, the group introduced
ReDiscover 4-H. It was the first time a 4-H club had come forward
with such energy and vision for a countywide event.
Working with the UW-Waukesha Continuing Education program,
ReDiscover 4-H and Discover Continuing Education welcomed more than
