SOME breathtaking footage of the natural world will again grace our TV screens this week, as the BBC launches its latest natural history series, Life.

Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, it is the kind of TV that makes you feel proud to be in Bristol and the West Country.

It is this type of cutting edge production that we're working hard to support at the South West RDA. The 10-week long series, which took four years to make, was produced by the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol.

TV production on this scale not only helps to cement the BBC's presence in the South West, but has a huge knock-on effect to the creative industry sector across the region.
