Czech president to sign Lisbon Treaty only with guaranteed exemption: secretary

PRAGUE, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Czech President Vaclav Klaus is willing to sign the European Union's Lisbon Treaty only if the EU guarantees Czech citizens inviolability of their property rights, his secretary said during a TV interview on Sunday.

Secretary Ladislav Jakl said the president, a vehement eurosceptic, demanded that no court within the EU be empowered to dismiss the Benes decrees via reassessment.
